What is the Native App?
Native apps are basically those types of apps or services that are made by their official developers. For example, suppose you have a website or a company. You now want to create a smartphone app for your website or for your company. Now, if you automatically create an app with your selected developers and publish your website or officially in the name of the company, then it will be your website or your company’s first-party app or native app. Since app creation, app publishing, you have done all these tasks in your care and published the app according to your company’s official name.
An example of this is given by Facebook. We use almost all Facebook apps. The most popular Facebook app we all use is the official Facebook app. Officially, this app is made by the Facebook corporation itself. Created by Facebook Developer’s own app developers, Since this app has been created by Facebook in its own care, and this app has been recognized as their own official app, this is the Facebook’s Native App or First Party App. Note that if an app developer checks into the information and if it is found that the company has developed this app according to the name of the app, that is the same as its native app. For example, Facebook’s Native App will create Facebook Corporation, as well as the Native apps for Microsoft services that will be created by Microsoft Corporation.
What is the third party app?
You may have seen that in addition to the official app of any app that searches on the Play Store, there are many other types of apps available that are made by other app developers. For example, if you search on the Play Store in the name of the Twitter app, Twitter Corporation will get many more Twitter apps in addition to Twitter apps that are not developed on Twitter, rather than other developers who have no relation with Twitter. They use Twitter APIs to create similar apps that claim to have more features than the official Twitter app. These apps are the third party app. Here I used Twitter as an example. This is the case with almost all kinds of apps. For example, you will get Instagram and Facebook app created by third-party developers who claim they have more features. Again, because these apps are the third party, these are not created by Facebook or Instagram itself.
Let’s give another example. We know that many new smartphones now do not have the FM radio app installed before. So listen to the radio when you listen to the radio and install a radio app and listen to the radio. The app that you download at the Play Store is the third party radio app. Or suppose, you do not like the default messaging app on your phone. So you have downloaded another messaging app by downloading the Play Store which has more features. This app is the third party app. That is, third-party apps that are created by third-party developers for the same work, even after having a dedicated official app for any service or for any service, are the third party app.
“The company’s own branded apps made by the official developers of that company are the native app or the first party app to use a service.
And, for the sake of work or a dedicated, official app, there are third-party apps that third-party developers create apps for the same work.”
Yes, there are advantages and disadvantages of using the Native app and third-party apps. Let’s know what are the main advantages and disadvantages
Native apps’ Advantages and Disadvantages:
Since the native apps are made directly by the original owner or under the supervision of the company directly, so using these apps is much safer. If the company is trusted and the app is official, then you can use this app safely. And, Native apps are much more optimized than the third party app and are updated regularly. Therefore, any type of service that is being used by the app is updated, it quickly updates to the official app. There is no major problem with the native app, but in many cases, it seems that many people do not like the native app, because it is not boring or feature-packed. This is a great reason to create third-party apps.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Third Party Apps :
Third-party apps have difficulties, but there are some advantages. Talking about the inconvenience, third-party apps are not created directly by the company, so using it is not very safe. If you do not use third party apps made by Trusted Developer, then it can do malware attack on your phone and steal your personal data. Besides, third-party apps are not optimized for official apps and many third-party app add-ons use the complete user experience. Also, using a third-party app for any service that the company does not support may be bad for your online account. For example, due to the snapshot restriction, because of the use of Snapchat third-party apps on Windows Phone, Snapchat has banned many users’ accounts. Yet there are some advantages of using apps created by Trusted third party developers. For example, get some extra features. For example, changing the theme, accessing various account profiles, and more such features that are not available in the native app. But if it does not need much, it is better to not use third-party apps.
